The Blue Stone Inn is open for dinner Tuesdays through Saturdays from 4:30 to 8:30 or 9:00, depending on the day. Someone is here to answer the phone from about 12:30 until 10:00 p.m.
While we always open on time, we do take some liberties with our closing times.
So if the night was particularly slow or particularly crazy, we may stop seating as much as 15 minutes before the listed closing times; it’s always best to keep this in mind!
We are closed on most major holidays, including Christmas and Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day, and Thanksgiving. We also close for vacation days periodically during the year; these times are noted on our Facebook page @BlueStoneInnRestaurant. Like us on FB! We request reservations for groups of 6 or more; please call ahead.
As a small restaurant, our seating capacity is rather limited; groups of more than 12 cannot be seated together, and groups of more than 20 are generally not accepted.
Location:
Nine miles north of Harrisonburg, Virginia, we are easily reached from all area colleges, hotels, Massanutten Resort, and area attractions such as the Civil War Museum in New Market and Luray Caverns.
From the Harrisonburg area and points south, including JMU: Take Interstate 81 north to exit 251, turn right at the end of the exit ramp, go north on route 11 for five miles. We will be on your left.
From Massanutten Resort and the various hotels on route 33 east: Take route 33 west towards Harrisonburg, then take interstate 81 north to exit 251; turn right at the end of the exit ramp, go north on route 11 for five miles. We will be on your left.
From New Market and points north: Take route 11 and travel 8 miles south of New Market, passing through the stoplight at the Broadway/Mauzy Interstate 81 exchange (exit 257). We are 1 1/2 miles south of the stoplight on the right.
From Bryce Resort: Go east on route 263 for 11 miles to route 11, then travel south on route 11, going through the town of New Market, for approximately 18 miles. After you pass the stoplight at the Broadway/Mauzy Interstate 81 exchange, we are 1 1/2 miles south on the right.
